It is so nice to have bees flying in my apiary again. Thanks to Steve, he has enlarged his apiary to include my yard and his bees are enjoying the flora and fauna of the Sans Souci lakes and Camp Edey and all my flower and vegetable loving neighbors.
I have been trying to attract the pair of Baltimore Orioles that have been flying in and out of my honey locust tree for the past few weeks and I put out oranges and was told to put out grape jelly for them. The birds haven’t discovered the jelly yet and fortunately neither have the bees! If they do, I will have to remove it I guess, Steve won’t like grape flavored honey.
